How is the Legal System? Expecially regarding property renting. What do you do when you have trouble with a renter?

Dubai has pretty strong legal frameworks. I have not rented or rented out yet here. But as a landlord you cannot increase rents as you see fit & you have to give ample notice beforehand. The usual rules apply for renters. You can only rent a unit longterm if you have a residence visa and an emirates ID. Most people here want/need to be here so they will do everything they can to not fuck up because doing so would put their entire existance in Dubai at risk (similar to the crime aspect I mentioned). So chances compared to other countries you will get big issues with a renter here are quite low. Also this risk is usually lower as well if you buy high quality prime stuff. You get more quality tenants so risk of them defaulting is lower, they tend to value other peoples property more and in the worst case they usually have money to pay damages...
